Educational Field Trips and Special Programs at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium include overnight stays, stewardship programs, outreach programs, and birthday party alternatives. Our education staff has developed several programs that are suitable for various ages and groups; click on the links listed above to learn more.
Field Trip Details
Reservations/Cancellations
- A two week notice is required for all bookings.
- A deposit of $75.00 will be required to confirm a booking.
- Cancellation fees may apply.
Combination Packages Available!
Visit two or more of the Dubuque County HIstorical Society sites on the same day and receive a discount. Please call for rates.
Lunch Available!
Student groups may also bring their sack lunches and eat outside or in the Depot Café.
Discovery Bags -
Let students bring a keepsake from the Museum & Aquarium home with them. The Museum & Aquarium gift shop offers Discovery Bags for student groups with a predetermined amount. Please call for details.
Explorer Fund - The Dubuque County Historical Society has rates established for mentally and physically challenged youth. Please call for details.
