Student & Child Groups

Educational Field Trips and Special Programs at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquariam, include overnight stays, stewardship programs, outreach programs, and birthday party alternatives are available. Our educational staff has developed several programs that are suitable for various age groups.

Field Trip Details

Combination Packages Available! Visit two or more of the Dubuque County HIstorical Society sites on the same day and receive a discount. Please call for rates.

Lunch Available! Student groups may also bring their sack lunches and eat outside or in the Depot Café.

Discovery Bags - Let students bring a keepsake from the Museum & Aquarium home with them. The Museum & Aquarium gift shop offers Discovery Bags for student groups with a predetermined amount. Please call for details.

Explorer Fund - The Dubuque County Historical Society has rates established for mentally and physically challenged youth. Please call for details.

Reservations/Cancellations

• A two week notice is required for all bookings.
• A deposit of $75.00 will be required to confirm a booking.
• Cancellation fees may apply.
