Your membership to the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium supports the work of the Dubuque County Historical Society, the National Rivers Hall of Fame, the Old Jail Museum and the Mathias Ham House Historic Site. Your membership helps continue to build on a foundation that was established over 50 years ago to collect, preserve and share with present and future generations, the rich history of Dubuque, the Mississippi River and the rivers of America.
The Association of Zoos & Aquariums accredited National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium serve hundreds of thousands of people annually through its exhibits and programs, both on-site and outreach activities. Visitors come from all 50 states and more than 70 countries. All museum properties are accredited by the American Association of Museums.
Our Mission is to collect, preserve and share the history of Dubuque County, the Mississippi, and all rivers of America.
